Image Crime, and the fear of it, can endanger a community's sense of security. People can lose their confidence in the safety of the neighborhood and become afraid to use the facilities and walk the streets. Crime feeds on this social isolation, but this cycle can be broken. Establishing a community crime watch group can empower neighborhoods to take a stand against crime, and take back their community. Would you like to be involved in the Community Crime Watch? Contact Patty Gleason at 570.421.5409 or Maria Santorro to get the latest information and application forms.
